Many moons ago (See: more recently than I’m willing to admit), I decided musical origins are irrelevant. I don’t care if a song is covered or if it’s an original.
Focusing on what’s finding its way to my ears seems a more fitting concern for my time than squabbling over what version is better. Or that versions exist. Or trying to score massive cred by pointing out it’s a cover.
Nobody cares.
Well, I don’t.
On that note, this song is impossibly good. Impossibly.
